Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH)
At your arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will meet with a representative of 4×4 Self Drive Africa Ltd you will welcome you to this amazing dry land and then he will take you to your 4×4 vehicle do the paperwork and then he will hand over the car key to you. You are free to ask him/her for all the information you need to know about driving in Namibia before you start your self-drive trip.
From the airport, you will start by driving 274 kilometers southeast of Windhoek to Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve which is found just near Mariental city. You can choose to get accommodation in this city or inside the game reserve for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Track with Bushmen and Evening Sunset Safari Drive

On the second day of the 7-day safari, you will wake up in the morning for a guided visit to the bushmen community where you will learn more about their daily life, learn how to track, and even craft making. in the afternoon after lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon sunset safari drive in the Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve. After this amazing experience, you can return to the Mariental City for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: See the Red Dunes of Sossusvlei

On this day, you will have breakfast and then transfer westwards to the world’s amazing and popular Namib desert found approximately 338km from Mariental. You will get a chance to see the notable Red Dunes of the Sossusvlei found in Namib-Naukluft National Park which is found in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean coast and on the edge of the Great Escarpment. After this amazing experience, you will get accommodation near the entrance of the national park for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Sesriem Canyon
This day will start with an early morning breakfast and then embark on the drive to Sossusvlei Dunes to explore the Sesriem Canyon. The more you reach there earlier, the more amazing and beautiful the canyon will be with the low sunlight. You will get a chance to hike on these beautiful canyons for as long as you would wish before you embark on the drive back to your accommodation for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight.
